I’ve called Polk County home for over 50 years and have spent my career taking care of people — as a pharmacist, legislator, and small business owner. Restore Trust and Civility in County Government
➢ Expect full-time work for full-time pay
➢ Make supervisor conflict-of-interest disclosures public to prevent self-dealing, nepotism, and
improper outside interests
➢ Ensure all county supervisors have equal access to board agenda information
➢ Improve employee morale and hold staff accountable for results
Building Community and Quality of Life
➢ Focus on projects that support quality of life so people will want to live, work, and play here
➢ Be fully engaged in regional efforts and work with mayors, city councils, school boards, non-profits,
and businesses to help advance a shared regional vision
Take Care of People
➢ Protect Water & Environment by investing in conservation. Support responsible policies
➢ Mental Health: Expand access and improve services
➢ Food & Housing: Strengthen partnerships and improve coordination
Keep Polk County Running Efficiently and Positively
➢ Maintain roads and infrastructure

➢ Be smart with taxpayer dollars — hold the line on property taxes and spend wisely and transparently
